During the early development phase of Stumble Guys, I worked as a character designer, shaping the look and feel of the game’s inhabitants. Guided by the art direction, I focused on keeping the designs simple yet full of personality.
One of the biggest challenges was making the characters simple—and always trying to ensure each character was minimalistic but that has a clear identity and purpose.
Every small detail had to matter. Additionally, since these characters would be translated into 3D models, I needed to provide clean,
well-defined designs that could easily transition to 3D modeling without losing their charm or readability.
